MISSION STATEMENT – WHY WE EXIST FOR SERVICE

BLEESINGS & JOY IN GOD’S WORK: HIS COMMISSION TO SAVE
The Lord will bless you and I as we carryout His Gospel directive to glorify Him through uplifting people to Christ, to the noblest, highest standards of morality, purity and holiness, with powerful principles of love and health, to equip His children with body, mind and soul fit for Life Eternal, as we all journey to His very near and exciting Second Coming.

OUR EXISTENCE – TO LIVE FOR HIM WHO DIED FOR US
The reason for our existence is to work for Him and with Him in finishing the work of spreading the Gospel of Salvation to all peoples, bringing to the end of the world the loving and powerful messages of the Three Angels of Revelation 14, giving glory to the Creator of Heaven and Earth, honoring His sovereignty over us by obeying all His Ten Commandments for which He came to uphold and died for to pay for the penalty it required for our sins – to live for Him who paid for our salvation with His precious blood.

SPIRIT OF PROPHECY AND FAITH OF JESUS
We find our meaning and fullest existence in obeying His command to follow His Example as when He walked among men while on Earth, to keep His commandments the way He exemplified in His life here, to love as He loved, to honor Him in remembering and setting aside His Holy Sabbath as the mark of His sovereignty as Creator and Lordship over us. For our compass, we embrace the guiding principles of the Bible, to honor, respect and faithfully follow the Spirit of Prophecy and the faith of Jesus, to share with others the joy of His Salvation and His very soon appearing – the blessed hope of His Second Coming.

HEALING THROUGH HEARING THE WORD
The need is the call. People cannot live by bread alone. People daily need to fill and fortify the heart with God’s power and truth through hearing of the Word. We see the need and feel called to fill that need.

THERE IS NO COMPETITION BETWEEN LIGHTHOUSES
God calls people to work for Him. His commission is utmost. He wants each of us to work for Him – He is the only Master – He will take care of all the intricacies that result from honest obedience to His will. We are not to fear but to love. In this Battle of Life, God seeks to have us look to Him only and not faint by looking at people. We co-exist as called to cooperate with Him in His work and to work side by side all His other children as guided by His Spirit to lift up to the highest the standards of purity, holiness and love.

WISE DISCERNMENT: EXAMINE EVERY SPIRIT
In a world where the boundaries of truth and error are a constant challenge, we are asked to test every spirit and to be cognizant of the stealth and fierceness of the enemy of souls. We feel called to exercise keen discernment in the choice of entertainment which characterize Heavenly, innocent joy, artistic refinement, beauty of holiness, savored with the spirit of humility, true repentance, and subjecting self to Christ and avoiding self-centeredness and shunning self worship.

GOD WILL SUPPLY – WE ONLY HAVE TO OBEY
We will not solicit for money. As He has already won the battle, God will supply the daily necessities for accomplishing His work, and He does not want you and I to worry about where the funds will come, as the bread and water is sure as He promised – our main duty is to do our job of carrying out His Gospel. His Spirit will quicken hearts to see the need and supply it. He has at His command all of Heaven’s treasures – else He would have asked us to do otherwise. He does not want you and I to worry about tomorrow – our duty is only to do the work He has bidden, to exercise humble faith, and to invite others and share the joy and opportunity of cooperating with Him in His work of uplifting and saving souls.
